SAW Ministries

Our mission is to reflect the love of Jesus through practical acts of service that meet real needs in our community.

Serving others while serving Christ

Several years ago, our family felt led to start a nonprofit ministry called SAW (Servants at Work) Ministries. Our mission is simple yet powerful: “Serve Christ while serving others.” Everything we do is rooted in our desire to reflect the love of Jesus Christ through practical acts of service.

Before we formally registered SAW Ministries, we had already been actively involved in ministry work for several years. Over time, the Lord has opened many doors for us to serve others in meaningful ways.

Here are two key areas where we focus our efforts:

1. Furniture Ministry

We collect donated furniture—both new and gently used—to help families transitioning out of homelessness or experiencing financial hardship. These items are used to furnish homes, providing dignity, comfort, and a fresh start. Throughout the year, as needs arise, we deliver and set up the furniture for each family. Thanks to generous donors and God’s provision, in 2023 and 2024, we were able to furnish homes for over 70 families.

2. Bicycle Ministry

We also collect bicycles year-round—new or used—and refurbish them to give to children in need. These bikes are distributed primarily through two projects:

* The Appalachian Mission Project (November), where we provide 110–130 bikes

* The Love Project (December), where we provide 170–190 bikes
